4 Day Double Gorilla Trek in Bwindi
This exciting Gorilla Trek in Uganda takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in the south Western part of Uganda, you will be part of a double gorilla trek safaris visiting two different gorilla families in Bwindi.
On arrival you will be picked by our Safari guide and transfer you up to your hotel of residence in Kampala for check in, relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.
Day1: Entebbe – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Very early in the morning have breakfast and after embark the safari vehicle for transfer to the south western Uganda visiting Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for the mostly wanted shy endangered ground dwelling Mountain Gorillas in Rushaga sector.
Stop over at the equator is included for brief explanation about the equator, coffee, snacks and photos. Lunch is provided en route in Mbarara town. Check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight accommodation options include Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge or Rushaga Gorilla Camp.
Day2: First Exciting Gorilla Trek
Have early morning breakfast and after transfer to the park headquarters with all your gorilla trekking equipment’s and packed lunch for briefing about the mountain gorillas and how to behave while in their presence.
After, Journey to the jungle is started with park ranger guide searching for these apes. After locating these apes you are allowed to be in their presence for only one hour while seeing them playing with young ones, feeding, laughing and more. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day3: Second Gorilla Trek – Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Have morning breakfast and thereafter transfer again to the park offices for the gorilla trekking briefing. After briefing start the second gorilla trek heading to the Jungle in search of these apes.
After the second Gorilla trek in Bwindi, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi associated with scenic view of the undulating landscapes. Check in for dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi Bird Nest Lodge, Arcadia Cottages, or Bunyonyi Overland Cottages.
Day4: Lake Bunyonyi – Transfer back to Kampala
Have morning breakfast, and after go for boat cruise along the Lake visiting its beautiful islands. After the exciting boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi start the exciting journey back to Kampala including en route stopover in Mbarara for lunch.
Our Safari guide will drop you off at Entebbe international airport for return flight back home or at your hotel of residence if you are to stay.
