5 Day Uganda Gorilla Safari & Jinja Holiday
This five day excursion takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla trekking experience plus white water rafting in Jinja along the high rapids of popularly known River Nile. On arrival our Safari guide will meet you at the airport and transfer up to your hotel of residence in Kampala for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.
Day1: Kampala – drive to Bwindi Forest National Park
Have morning breakfast and after embark the safari jeep for transfer to south western Uganda in Kabale and Kisoro where Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is located. Stopover at the equator is included for explanation about it, coffee, snacks, and photos.
Another en route stop over is in Mbarara at Agip Motel for lunch and after continue to the park for your dinner and overnight stay. Accommodation options include Mahogany Springs Lodge, Silver Back Lodge or Buhoma Haven Lodge.
Day2: Gorilla Trekking – drive to Lake Bunyonyi
Have morning breakfast and after head to the park headquarters with your packed lunch for briefing about the mountain gorillas and how to behave while in their presence, after enter into the jungle searching for the endangered mountain gorillas.
After locating them you are allowed to stay with them for only one hour while seeing them playing, taking photos and videos of them. After return to the park offices for the gorilla trekking certificate award.
After transfer to Lake Bunyonyi associated with the beautiful view of the sightseeing and landscapes. Check in for dinner and overnight stay at Lake Bunyonyi Overland Cottages, or Arcadia Cottages.
Day3: Lake Bunyonyi, boat cruise – Kampala
Have morning breakfast and after take boat ride along Lake Bunyonyi visiting its dotted beautiful islands, after boat cruise embark the safari jeep and transfer back to Kampala with en-route lunch in Mbarara town at Agip Motel. Overnight stay at Cassia Lodge, Namirembe Guest House, Serena Hotel, Sheraton Hotel and more.
Day4: Kampala – Jinja, White Water Rafting
Have morning breakfast and after transfer to Jinja for an amazing half day white water rafting along the waters of River Nile. Have Lunch, after transfer back to Kampala for your overnight stay.
Day5: Jinja – Kampala city tour- Entebbe
Have morning breakfast and after embark the safari vehicle for the Kampala city tour visiting its major places of interest like Kasubi tombs, Namugongo Shrines, Royal palace of Buganda Kingdom, Bahai temple, Uganda Museum and more. After city tour drive to Entebbe airport for your return flight back home. End of our services
