5 Day Uganda Gorilla & Wildlife Safari
This Uganda Gorilla & wildlife safari takes you to Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will meet different Wildlife species, boat cruise along Kazinga channel and then shift to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for the exciting gorilla trekking experience
Day1: Kampala – drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Have early morning breakfast, meet our guide and embark the safari vehicle for transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Stop over at the equator in Kayabwe is included for explanation about it, photos, coffee and snacks.
Another stopover is in Mbarara at Agip Motel for lunch, after lunch continue driving to the park with en-route sightseeing and landscapes. You will have evening game drive in Kasenyi plains, after check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Accommodation options include Mweya Safari Lodge, Bush Lodge, Katara lodge or Bush Safari Camp.
Day2: Game Drive & Boat Ride in Queen
Early in the morning have your delicious breakfast at the lodge and after be in for the morning game drive through the Kasenyi plains exposing you to different Wildlife species including lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, kobs, spotted hyenas and more.
After 3-4 hours game drive transfer back to your lodge or Mweya canteen for lunch as you get prepared for the afternoon boat cruise along Kazinga channel. This boat cruise exposes you to different Wildlife species. After return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.
Day3: Queen Elizabeth – drive to Bwindi Forest National Park
Have morning breakfast and after embark the safari vehicle for transfer to Bwindi National Park via the Ishasha southern sector route popularly known for the tree climbing lions in the fig trees, if you are lucky you will see these animals resting up in tree branches.
Lunch is provided en route and after continue to the Bwindi impenetrable National Park for check in. Dinner and overnight stay at Mahogany Springs Lodge, Silver Back Lodge, or Buhoma Haven Lodge.
Day4: Gorilla Trekking – Lake Bunyonyi
Have morning breakfast and after go for the briefing with your packed lunch about how to behave while in Jungle and in presence of these Mountain Gorillas. After briefing, the journey to the Jungle is started following the permanently established routes in search of these apes. Locating these apes in the Jungle you are allowed to be in their presence for only one hour while seeing them playing with young ones, feeding, resting and more.
After the exciting Gorilla trek, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi with undulating view of landscapes. Dinner and overnight stay at Bunyonyi Bird Nest Lodge, Arcadia Cottages, or Bunyonyi Overland Cottages.
Day5: Lake Bunyonyi – Entebbe
On day five have breakfast in the morning and after be in for the exciting boat cruise along the waters of Lake Bunyonyi visiting its beautiful islands, from boat cruise embark the safari vehicle and transfer back to Entebbe for your return flight. End of Safari in Uganda.
